    This is what we saw on early television 1950s and early 60s) when they were trying to fill up as much time as possible with unsalable movies on this new technology. For all the Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies, Tex Avery, etc. you got about three of these things. On the other hand, without the “fill up” mentality, we wouldn’t have gotten “unprofitable” old films like the Wizard of Oz, Laurel and Hardy, the Little Rascals – and LT’s and MM’s.

    This is from the DVD ‘Cultoons, Volume 1′ from Thunderbean animation. It’s available on Amazon. It’s full strange things, though this one is high on the list! There’s another film by Les Elton on the collection as well. The silent parts of this are from a silent print that had scenes edited out of all the sound prints….
