   First of all, I believe you can ADOPT mutts from shelters at shelters.

   SECOND, ANY dog is capeable of anything. Shelter dogs have nothing to do with that. get your facts straight.

    Its a pretty sad reflection on society that so many animals are dumped just after Christmas but on the positive side the designer breeds I suspect are generally better cared for. I even know of someone that rescues Bijons, and Maltese and other exotic breeds from the local animal shelter here in Australia
