I was just wondering which is better a Labradoodle or a Yorkie?

I was watching Dogs 101 and heard about the Labradoodle. I’m not sure between a Labradoodle or a Yorkie. Which do you think is better?

It depends on how much space you have for a dog. If you have a big yard, then a Labordoodle might be good. They are also good with kids. This would be a easier dog to train. But they eat a lot and need a lot of exercise. Can you walk him every day. You have to train and socialize this dog…It may need a bit of grooming with the poodle mixed in but not as much as a Yorkie.

If you have a small yard or an apartment and don’t have kids then a Yorkie might be good. They are delicate dogs and can be snappy. Small children don’t always do well with that breed…they can hurt each other. Yorkies are also barkers unless you train them, and they are terriers. (I have a different breed of terrier…and I like most terriers) Yorkies need a lot of grooming.

Yorkies are good companion dogs. They don’t eat a lot and they are just cute as they can be…but they can be temperamental so you do have to train him and work with him…the don’t need a lot of exercise as the Labordoodle, but a little exercise is good..just don’t over do it.

they both have pros and cons and you should do your research to find which breed is best for you.

if you want a dog you can play with and give attention to all the time get a labradoodle..because yorkies do whatever they want when they want and you cant count on loving all over them ..because they like their boundaries.

I would go with a yorkie, and make it pure. labradoodles are over bred and very high energy. they also take a great amount of effort to train.

It really depends on the size of dog you are wanting and things it requires such as grooming and exercise. The Labradoodle requires quite a bit of exercise while the Yorkie can probably get its daily exercise from running around the house.

    Hi
I have both Lab and Yorkie. ( I grew up with Yorkie who is 12 now and I recently adopted Lab)
they both have pro and cons. You need to research A LOT !
here is what I think about lab and yorkie:

Lab is WAY BIGGER than Yorkie.
    They both demand for attention
Lab needs a lot of exercise it’s good if you like jogging or exercise or ..swimming! :)
Yorkie needs to groomed a lot (Lab sheds twice a year)
Yorkie is picky but Lab eats everything- labs are food lover..
u have to be careful when u handle yorkie, but you can play aggressively with Lab and it’s heaps fun!
Yorkie’s hair changes, it’s interesting to see. My yorkie used to have silver colour around his legs and belly but now they are gold colour.
Labs are friendly and non aggressive. they are friendly to everybody. yorkie is protective of the owner and they think they are big dogs.
Yorkies are CUTe and Labs are HANDSOME/Beautiful

That’s all I can think of.
you really need to research in depth before getting one of them.
I found http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/ really helpful. they have every information that you need about the breeds.
    hope it helped

If I had a choice between them two I’d go for the Yorkie because labradoodles are just too active. It really depends on where you live and be sure that you can be responsible enough. A yorkie doesn’t really need that much exercise. Not as much as a labradoodle. No matter how much you play, exercise, etc. r always running and making a mess. My aunt has a labradoodle and sometimes (no offense to the dog lol) I can’t stand him because he jumps all over me, licking me, and trust me those dogs are strong hahahahah. They are so lovable though. A Yokie is better for a person that is not very active and won’t really take dogs to a walk very often. The thing is that yorkies are house dogs, they can’t be outside. Here is some information on both breeds. Yorkie:

    Yorkie.. its a legit breed

"labradoodles" are just glorified MUTTS with a fake label, a high price tag, and a string of marketing lies attatched to them.

the lab/poodle cross are not the brightest dogs. Go for the yorkie.

um… i would personally like a Yorkie. It tends to be smaller and their hair is easier to maintain. And one of my friends has a Yorkie and they say it’s the best puppy you could ever have, and i agree. i play with it al the time. :)
