Im looking for a breeder that sells them cheaper than $1500!!!
Also that has mini F1B labradoodles.
Local shelter’s around me have bout 2 dogs in them i’ve checked every shelter around me. I just want some names of labradoodle breeders in pennsylvania that don’t cost an arm and a leg
Since you people don’t think I should get a labradoodle from a breeder then find me a labradoodle in a shelter in central pennsyvania
As a Labradoodle breeder myself I would recommend looking for Labradoodle breeders that offer a Health Guarantee and a Rehome policy with their puppies. And yes contrary to popular belief there are not many labradoodles found in shelters. The ones that show up there are usually from BYB’s who are looking to "cash in" on their popularity like a lot of the purebreds that are found in shelters. There are reputable labradoodle breeders out there you just have to be willing to do your research and know what questions to ask. If you would like to email me directly I would be happy to answer any questions to help you with your research. I love this hybrid and the majority of my puppies become working/therapy dogs. Also I have listed below a website that you can put in the state and it will show the breeders listed there. Hope this helps.

You’re going to pay up to $1400 for a mixed breed dog? I’ll bet if you look in your local humane society there’s probably at least 2 or 3 that would resemble what you’re looking for.
References :
No such thing as that. Anyone who breeds labradoodles are just a scam trying to get your money. Labradoodle are not safe to get, because those to breeds are overbred. There not hypoallegenic and there not shed free. Labs Shed so much! Go visit you local shelter.
References :
If you are looking for a Labrador/Poodle cross, try your local dog shelter. No reputable breeder will ever intentionally produce mixed breed dogs.
EDIT: If you cannot find a Labrador/Poodle cross in a shelter, why not adopt just one of those breeds? there are thousands of wonderful Labradors in shelters that are waiting to be adopted.

If you even consider spending that much money on a mixed breed you are crazy!!
Plus, no reliable breeder should be selling a labradoodle. There are no standards for mixed breeds. You could have a lab/pit mix crossed with a poodle….and people could technically sell it to you as a labradoodle.
Check your local shelter to see what breeds they have available.

Why do you want to pay a fortune for a mixed breed dog? Adopt a dog instead….much cheaper and the same you will get from these so-called breeders – a mixed breed dog. F1B is no different than any other labradoodle – it takes many generations to establish a standardized breeding line and no one has done that with labradoodles. It’s a line of bull from unscrupulous breeders.
They do shed and they are not hypoallergenic. Don’t get taken – trying to save you some money from a scammer of a breeder.

Have you done your research on these dogs? They are extremely hyper and stubborn. They are a designer breed and everyone seems to want them now-a-days. People are charging that much because they are in such high demand they are getting away with it. Trust me, it’s NOT worth that money. Go to your local shelter…I’m sure there are some there. People buy these dogs and get rid of them very quickly…trust me…I see it every day at the shelter I work at.
Good luck.

Please don’t buy a MUTT. See if you can find a similar mixed breed at http://www.petfinder.com.
No responsible breeder would purposely produce mutts. They breed because they are devoted to preserving and improving a breed according to its written standard.
Those individuals who are producing mutts and dubbing them with "Designer dog" names are motivated solely by greed and are not only perpetrating an unscrupulous scam on the public, but doing harm to the very dogs they breed. They do NO health screenings or genetic testing at all. They do not even breed to a standard, (because there is none). Please don’t support this unscrupulous practice.

I do know there is one near Allentown that has a terrible reputation because he uses poor quality purebreds to get his labradoodles. Other than that, there are MULTIPLE designer dog breeders all over the place. Most of these breeders do not have the qualifications, the education or the background to be breeding dogs, so I would be EXTREMELY cautious buying a designer dog. Those purebred breeders with wonderful reputations have been breeding dogs in a mentored program for years and they know their stuff. You would be better off buying a purebred from a reputable breeder.

As you are hopefully aware, a labradoodle is simply a cross between a Labrador and a Poodle. Reputable breeders of either breed can sell as many of those types of dogs as they want.
So who would be the type of person that would intentionally breed labradoodles?
Puppy mills. They could care less about the dogs. To them it is something to simply breed as much as possible to make as much money as possible. If you haven’t heard of them, it is about the worse place you could buy a dog.
Backyard breeders. People who have little to no idea about breeding dogs are simply in it because "designer" dogs are the in thing right now. Again, not a good place to buy a dog.
"Reputable" breeder. Any reputable breeder has looked at both dogs that they are going to breed and can tell you about their genetics. Good and bad. If they can’t tell you this, you are seriously asking for a puppy with potential health problems.
Our vet is now getting clients where the labradoodle the people have bought for major money is simply a dog that the "breeder" picked up at the shelter and resold as labradoodle. Guess what, the buyers are simply being taken.
For less than $1,500.00 you can get a great Labrador, or a great poodle from a really reputable breeder. They’ll show you the parents and they’ll know the genetics.

y would u pay 1500 dollars for a mutt there r a lot of dogs in shelters especiall lab and poodle mixes. because people like u buy them and then u realize they arent everything the "breeder" said they were and then u dont want them any more so i will find u a lab/poodle mix in a shelter. so do a favor and save a life from a shelter. it doesnt matter if it is a lab/poodle mix. u should do the right thing and find a deserving dog that needs a home rather than finding a lab/poodle mix at a breeder that doesnt need a home because the breeder will find a different home for it

First to answer the question that always seems to come up, why breed Labradoodles…
Here was there original purpose:
Labradoodle – In 1989 Wally Conron of Kew, Australia, began crossing Labrador Retrievers and Standard Poodles to create the Labradoodle because he wanted to have guide dogs suitable for blind people allergic to dog hair. Labradoodles are sociable, extremely clever and quick to learn unusual or special tricks. These dogs are good with children and easy to train. They need lots of exercise and activity in their life. Their curly coat needs regular grooming at least twice a week. Standard sizes weigh 45 to 77 lbs. and stand 21-24" at the shoulders. Miniature sizes weigh 26 to 55 lbs. and stand 17-20" at the shoulders. Females are slightly smaller.
Now to answer the asker’s question.
I have looked on the internet for you and this is what I have come up with.

Above may be the place the other answerer was mentioning that is near Allentown. (I used to live near Philly, so these places are familiar to me… Dorney Park ;->)
Not in PA, but next door in NJ.

They seem pretty good with breeding stock right from Australia’s stock, but it’s best to visit the breeder to make sure for yourself.
All you really need to do is go to your favorite search engine and type in Labradoodle breeders in PA. I was able to find the one’s I posted here.

Please don’t purchase a mixed breed "desinger" dog. For $1500 you can get a purebreed puppy health tested and from champion bloodlines. People breeding these dogs have no regard for the health of the pups they produce, there is no "breed standard" (it’s not even a breed), so you don’t really know which breed characteristics the dog will end up with. It may or may not shed, it may have straight or cury hair and it may inherit genetic flaws from both breeds.
Check poodle rescue groups in your area. Here’s a Poodle/Golden and a Poodle/Lab. Not central PA, but I’m sure they’re worth the drive.
