Would it be unfair to my dog (a labradoodle) to have her in a tiny one bedroom apartment?
Assuming you are willing and able to provide adequate exercise for the dog, sure it would be okay. Contrary to popular opinion, dogs with yards or larger homes don’t just exercise themselves – they still need structured walks, play, training, etc.
Is it okay to have a labradoodle in a small apartment?

Probably not. If they got used to it, it would be fine.

Not if you exercise it enough. It’s not ideal, but it can work if you’re not lazy.
Terriers are the worst breeds for apartment-living I feel.

isnt the law to have a big size dogs to live in a small tiny place like apartment . and i think the department owner would not allow that. to have big size dog. i prefer you get small dog.

No such thing as a labradoodle. What you have is a good ol’ common /mutt/. Don’t tack on a stupid name.
And yes, I’m guessing it’s a large mutt, so it wouldn’t be ideal unless you have a lot of spare time to take her out exercise…a lot.

I don’t think it would be a good idea. As both labs and poodles can be quite high energy. Even if you take him for lots of walks, an energetic dog needs a yard, and a decent sized home to romp around in.
Maybe you should go for a lazier breed. Perhaps a hound.

as long as you take out for enough exercise.

Hi,
The Labradoodle can be a high-energy dog. She requires about 30 to 60 minutes of exercise per day. Apartments are not the ideal setting for this energetic dog. Here are more info:

Our labradoodle is a standard, quite big and just lovely.
(BTY: she’s a poodle/lab cross and we call her a labradoodle and she still exists even when we use that name!)
She’s completely placid and quiet in the house and hardly ever moves from the kitchen/her bed. We do walk her twice a day on the beach and in the forest so she has plenty of exercise but I think she’d be as fine in a small apartment as she is in our house. her brother is owned by friends of ours and he’s much higher energy in the house and hates being left so I guess you know your dog best, how much space does he/she like?
