Hi, my labradoodle has something wrong with his left ear, it isn’t effecting his right ear at all. He has lots of gunky brown stuff in the ear canal, and when i move his ear around it sounds like theres liquid in it. He wines when i touch the out side in the wrong spot or put anything the vet told me i should try putting in it. Any suggestions?
continue putting the medication in that the vet prescribed.. he will whine, its an infection, and it hurts.. the antibiotics should help within a few days.. if there’s no improovement after being on the medication for a few days, take him back to the vet, he may need a different type of antibiotic.
My labradoodle has and ear infection or something in his left ear, how do i fix it?

Go to the Vet. You should not try to fix it or make him feel better. The vet should be able to help you.

You fix it by taking him to the vet and having him treated for the ear infection. an infection can only be cleared up by antibiotics which can only be prescribed by a vet so take the dog to the vet as soon as possible as your dog is in obvious pain and distress.

Take him to the vet.He has an ear infection and it hurts. The next time you have an earache, don’t go to the doctor, ask for advice on here instead.

If your vet told you how to treat his ear, and you are not doing it, you are making your dog suffer needlessly because you are refusing to treat his obvious ear infection. Of course he whines when you put the medicine in – his ear hurts! It hurts because it is infected! It won’t get better if you can’t bring yourself to treat it. If you can’t treat the dog yourself, take him back to the vet’s and have them board him and treat him there until he is better.
