Have you owned or do you own a Labradoodle, as the name suggests it is a Labrador Poodle corss. and is a recognised breed.
Have they a nice temprement, are they gentle with kids,
It’s not a recognised breed, it’s a mutt bred by ignorant people who are out to make money.
I think, just from the cross, they would be very intelligent and very active. Maybe not as much as a Border Collie, but probably not far off.

They are not a recognized breed. Just a mixed breed being sold for WAY too much money.
I’ve never owned one, but groom several. They are ok. Some of them are hyper and crazy, others are real calm and mellow.
But I do know that they DO shed and they are NOT hypoallergenic like the backyard breeders who sell them claim

They are mutts. They are definately not a breed as stated by previous posters. And who knows what kind of temperment you will get because they are a mutt. You could get the best or worst of either of the breeds. If you want a mutt so badly go to a shelter or humane society and find an older dog with a known temperment. Don’t support greedy backyard breeders who could care less about dogs in general and just want money.

It is a recognized breed by the American Hybrid Club.
