    It was a great thing about the War for Independence. It was a song making fun of us, but we liked it too much. XD
    One of the British General’s even exclaime, “I hope I never hear that tune again!” But when they lost the war he was marched of the field to a band playing it. XD

    Look people, so it’s not the best song on Earth. But it’s apart of our heritage, and we can be proud of it if we want too! Get over it, it’s not like it’s our National Anthem.

    Mostly true, except that the outcome of both World Wars was decided before the US joined either.

    WW1, the French and the Brits were doing quite well in 1917, the US entry just accelerated victory (a valuable thing, to be sure).

    WW2, Germany lost the war the moment it failed to take Moscow in early December 1941. Never forget that the USSR was the country that won WW2, not the USA (not to say the USA did not help.)
