We did not lose the War of 1812, I will give you the point that Napoleon was more important and you had great success there, the really only decisive land battle was the Battle of New Orleans, which we thrashed you at with just a small group of regulars and ordinary people. You stil lost the revolutinary war, we burned your Canadian capital in the War of 1812 and destroyed your Great Lakes fleet. Also, the only really decisive battle, The Battle of New Orleans, was the battle that we won. A group of 8000 American army regulars, milita, free blacks, regular citizens, and even pirates were able to send off 20,000 british elite troops with less then 50 American causitlies to almost 5,000 british casulties/POWs. BTW, I know the battle was fought after peace was made.

Thats where you’re wrong. The American revolution was fought by Americans, the French had a huge fleet that came in towards the end and yes there were French regiments fighting on the ground but that was not the case in the first 4 years of the war. I will say that we do not give the French enough credit for the help they gave us in the war, however becareful not to give the too much credit either. Also its a fact that the war of 1812 did not have a winner.
